Co-authored research papers with Prof. Graham Bird and Prof. Dane Rowlands on empirical analyses of various issues surrounding International Monetary Fund (IMF) lending programs.
Contributed to various stages of the research process: conceptualization, methodology, software, validation, formal analysis, resources, data curation, visualization, draft writing, review and editing
Two papers on prolonged use and graduation from the IMF (one published, one under review), a paper on completion rates and conditionality of IMF programs (forthcoming), and a working paper on the catalytic effect of IMF lending

Provided technical assistance to the project entitled “Regulatory and Public Policy Challenges to Reducing Air Pollution Concentrations in the City of Baguio, the Philippines” sponsored by The Economy and Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA)
Developed questionnaire and coding guides for research assistants, and performed statistical analysis and Cost-of-Illness calculations.
Helped write two reports on the cost of illness of elevated exposure to pollutants in Baguio City, and on the benefits and cost of cleaner alternative transportation systems in the city.
Project Leader, Department of Economics, June 2013 – June 2014
In partnership with the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), selected as one of the project leaders of a department-wide project involving the analysis of the partner agency’s Industry Strategic Science & Technology Plans (ISP) for the livestock industry.
Supervised the conduct of the analysis of costs and benefits of PCAARRD’s ISP for the Philippine Duck Industry and wrote a terminal report on the net economic benefits of purifying the breed of the Philippine Mallard Duck.

Co-organized roundtable discussions with energy industry leaders
Co-organized the 1st National Forum on Energy Economics, held on 8 April 2014 at the Acacia Hotel, Commerce Avenue, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Presented a review of quantitative methods in energy economics in the said forum.
